Safety and non-irritation is really important to us!
We had Dermatologists clinically test this to make sure it's a non-irritating formula. They performed what's called a repeat insult patch test study (RIPT study), where 50 participants apply the product for a period of 6 weeks, tested each week for signs irritation. Our participants experienced no irritation throughout the entire study!Moreover, we formulated this product to be irritant-free, fragrance-free, paraben-free, and comply with the National Eczema Association's list of unapproved ingredients!

Our products are made with marine glycoproteins, which are found in lobster. They are sustainably and ethically sourced as natural byproducts of lobster processing, however, they are not vegan!

We actually have a BUNCH of people using the cream to help soothe skin prone to eczema or psoriasis! This is actually why we founded Marin and created the product - after the glycoproteins helped *finally* soothe our own eczema, we felt compelled to bring this new, natural solution to others like us!
Overall, glycoproteins do a great job hydrating and repairing dry, damaged skin, while also smoothing and softening rough skin out - a combination of concerns that is common among many people with psoriasis, dermatitis and eczema.

We actually have a lot of parents and grandparents using the cream for their little ones!
We've noticed that a lot of people prefer a more natural alternative to steroid creams, which can sometimes cause more damage than good. To be extra sure that Marin is gentle enough for their skin, we recommend applying a little dime-sized amount of product on before use, observing for any irritation, and continuing use once you've made sure their skin likes Marin!

I have eczema caused by my PCOS so it's really hard to deter flare ups. My eyes have been killing me for weeks and I've tried 10+ creams. While a lot of eczema creams were soothing, none healed it. Top photo is my eyes September 12 and bottom photo is September 15th. The only change was Marin morning and night!

I love Marin! Was suffering from TSW because of constant dermatitis of the mouth. Steroids no longer helped! I used Marin cream around my mouth and their Lip Treatment on my lips.
